
Yesterday during meditation class, I got a request for a Stress Lowering Podcast. So, here it is with a very simple breathing exercise.
As you are probably aware we are in the midst of a very polarized election here in the United States. The political situation combined with the global pandemic is very stressful for everyone even if you are living in the middle of nowhere without any internet or television.
We know that living with prolonged stress is damaging to our physical and emotional well-being. When we are stressed no matter for how long, our Immune System is suppressed. This happens because we are in a Fight or Flight or Freeze survival mode.
So, when we can lower our stress levels, we are supporting our Immune System !!! Good for Us !!!
Try the Breathing Exercise in this podcast. It will work. I know it will work for you because I use it and people in my meditation classes use it. It works !
