Special Earth Day and Inner Peace Meditation for the Whole World ~ April 21 2024

Happy Earth Day !!!

As you may know, I am writing articles about what some people would call "Humble Mystics" or "Modern Mystics".  These are people who have a very specific life pathway

They find their path, jump on it, and follow it "religiously".

People like George Washington Carver, Luther Burbank, and St. Francis of Assissi were deeply connected to God's Creation in specific ways.  George Washington Carver made enormous contributions to agriculture through his teaching and work at Tuskegee University. 

Luther Burbank settled in Santa Rosa, California, and developed new varieties of many, many vegetables, fruits, and flowers.  He even developed and "spineless" cactus !!! 

St. Francis had a deep mystical connection to the Earth.  He had a turbulent life as a young man, but found his calling as a monk and never looked back.  It is said that the Birds flew around him when he preached.  He could talk to Wolves or any other creature and he cared deeply for all Creatures, Great and Small.  He is the patron saint of animals, merchants, and ecology.  Maybe he should be the patron saint of Veterinarians as well!
