
Most of us are aware that we live in "Challenging Times". No need to remind you of the Corona Virus or the Polarizing Politics in our world. However, there is another cause of upset and distress. It is our own emotional response to these challenges.
If we have a strong negative or highly emotional response to these "challenges", then we increase our own distress. On the other hand, If we can remember to breathe, to stay calm and centered, then we will be healthier and happier. We will be more at Peace with ourselves and probably with others. We will also be more creative and resilient !!!
Being more at ease with ourselves is one of many benefits that can come from having a spiritual practice such as meditation. Sometimes we underestimate the value of our meditations or even our intentions. Sometimes we gain the most benefit from keeping up our spiritual practices when it is the most difficult.
So, I hope and trust that you and all your family and friends are doing well.
