This week during Meditation Class we talked about the amount of suffering around the World. When there is a high level of unrest and suffering, we are all affected whether we know it or not. This high level can interfere with our quality of sleep or we may feel anxious for no apparent reason.
Meditation can definitely help ease our anxiety and make it easier for us to fall asleep. This is especially true if we practice any kind of meditation consistently. Our consistent practice has a cumulative result, just like learning or improving any kind of skill. Studies, and our own experience, have proven this over and over.
One important aspect of meditation is to allow ourselves to rest in our breath or in our meditation. This can be very restorative.
Have a Wonderful Week and Remember to Breathe.
